ZANE: NOT TO BAD, TIRED, TOURING THE WORLD AS YOU DO.
MISC: YES AS YOU DO, HOW HAVE THE FANS REACTED TO YOUR NEW AND DEBUT ALBUM, ‘HIGH TIMES’?
ZANE: I HAVE HAD A GREAT RESPONSE ACTUALLY, MY FANS ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD, GREAT SUPPORT FROM EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.
MISC: WHERE DID THE NAME 'HIGH
TIMES' COME FROM?
ZANE: WELL IT'S GENERALLY ABOUT
MY LIFE AND THE TRACKS ON IT
EXPLAIN ABOUT MY LIFE
MISC: HIGH OR HIGH?
ZANE: BIT OF BOTH (LAUGHS) I HAVEN'T
REALLY GOT TIME DO DRUGS AND TO BE
HONEST THEY'VE NEVER INTERESTED ME,
WHEN MY FRIENDS WERE MESSING AROUND
WITH THEM I JUST CARRIED ON WRITING

MISC: WHICH IS YOUR FAVOURITE TRACK
ON THE ALBUM?
ZANE: PROBABLY NUMBER 1, IT'S CALLED 'HOW SOON IS NOW?'
IT MEANS THE MOST TO ME ON THE ALBUM, ALTHOUGH I SUPPOSE THEY'RE ALL VERY GOOD AND THEY ALL MEAN A LOT TO ME AND HAVE HELPED ME THROUGH SOME HARD TIMES.
MISC: WHAT IS THE SONG ABOUT?
ZANE: IT'S ABOUT PEOPLE TELLING ME I CAN MAKE IT AND ME WONDERING WHEN I CAN MAKE IT I PUT A LOT OF EFFORT INTO IT AND IT'S MADE ME VERY EMOTIONAL (LAUGHS, IT WAS ALSO THE SONG THAT GOT ME SIGNED.
MISC: DIDN'T THE RECORD LABEL WALK ON AND SIGN YOU IN YOUR OPENING SONG?
ZANE: (LAUGHS) I WISH THEY DID, THAT’S A NEW RUMOUR ACTUALLY.
MISC: HOW DID YOU GET SIGNED?
ZANE: IT DIDN’T HAPPEN OVER NIGHT I CAN TELL YOU THAT FOR NOTHING. IT TOOK A LOT OF HARD WORK. I USED THE INTERNET WITH SITES LIKE YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK AND TWITTER TO HELP TO PROMOTE MY SELF. I WAS TOURING FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS BEFORE I HAD TO MAKE SACRIFICES LIKE QUITTING UNIVERSITY AND QUITTING A JOB. SOME TIME’S I FELT LIKE GIVING UP BUT MY FAMILY WAS DEEPLY SUPPORTIVE AND MY FANS WERE GREAT.
MISC: SOME DEEP STUFF THEIR ZANE, AND I’M GLAD YOU MADE IT YOU’RE VERY GOOD.
ZANE: (LAUGHS) WHY THANKYOU VERY MUCH MISC.

Colour Schemes
I am still undecided on which colour scheme to use in my music magazine, i will later come to a conclusion after testing different colour schemes in my mock ups.

I have decided to use the top masthead style as it is very creative, and got the majority of votes.

Title for music magazine
Noise - represents what the magazine is all about, it's all about the noise of indie music and i believe this title word work excellent with the indie vibe.
Blur - this allows me to edit the images, such as putting a blur through the artists eyes on the front page. this could be a reoccoring theme which would go on through out the magazine.
Modern - a very basic name, shows the modern feel, contents would consist of up coming bands.
Feel - allows the readers to become personal with the magazine, shows the passion of the music
Love♫ - this is a very original idea, it is a shortened version of 'Love Music' the double quaver represents music. It has a very quirky feel and could work well, if used in the correct contents

Ideas For Fonts.
After naming my magazine 'INFINITE' i experimented with different fonts i could use for the masthead.
i went on the website 'dafont.com' to find various texts i could use.
'impact' was a very bold text with much definition
'Impact Label' was an modern text with the hint of an old fashioned print text.
'KG part on the rooftop' was a very fashionable text.
i am still undecided in which font to use as they are all very good fonts to use on my magazine i will update a new post in the future with my final decision.

Colour Schemes
I've been thinking of colour schemes and i like the idea which 'VIBE' used on the image of Kanye West. They related the colours of his clothes and hair to the colours of the text. using simple colours for text gives it a great feel and emphasises the image of his face. i am going to relate to this in my school magazine to give it a professional look.

Masthead Styles
Here are several ideas for the title of my magazine:
Infinite - Represents the endless ideas of the magazine.
Potential - Because all pupils in the school are provided with the opportunity to reach their potential.
Gifted - Could be directed to a certain set of pupils.
Style - The magazine could represent the style in school and what is hot in at the moment.
Biddulph High School - Too obvious and rather plain.
My final idea is 'BLUR' as it is original and has style and purpose yet still represents/relates to the 'B' in Biddulph High School.
